Unlike my olive-complected mother, we have the fitness of the Irish when it comes to object worship. A couple of bad consume here and there have led to more SPF and a looking for something to even out the damage and discoloration. The retexturizing face pads from Cane+Austin appear to be a great selection so far.
The light exfoliation in the pads comes from 10 percent glycol poison –basically, a light flay — that resurfaces your skin. After swiping the desk pad around my face and neck, we beheld a slight tingly, tingling feel — but it dissipates quickly, leaving my face rather glossy until the product dries.
I used the pads in the dusk before bed and followed with moisturizer, as it is parching to my multiple skin. I’m many gratified with the shade and tinge changes I’ve noticed. Old, pinkish acne scars appear to be fading, and the on the whole look of my skin appears to be more even. I’m not certain about the claims of wrinkle-reduction, but we do see fewer blackheads and breakouts on my chin.
The cost is a bit daunting, I’ll admit, but at only $1 per day, it’s value it is to only face you get.

My assignment was to try out the retexturizing body pads. we motionless to try them on the driest body tools that have had the many object damage, coarse spots and discoloration: the backs of my hands and arms. we no longer outlay the summer poolside, shower up rays similar to we did in my younger days, but the damage has been done. And only on foot by a balmy parking lot is sufficient to highlight that damage.
A singular desk pad is sufficient to work over both arms from shoulder to fingertips, leaving them looking pink, glossy and tingly. The aroma is a bit medicine-like, but that, to me, means it’s major business. After the treatment dried, we swathed on my standard moisturizing lotion, that seems to take in improved than usual. The outcome lasts via the day, with my skin feeling smoother to the hold and looking healthier and reduction wrinkly — even from the initial application.
I’m ready to pierce on to other body tools for an all-over rejuvenation. Of course, that means my glass container of 60 pads will be burned out sooner. But if the alleviation increases exponentially, it’s well value the price.
Spring break — with sunscreen — here we come!

Cane + Austin’s retexturizing body pads right away took me back to 1992, when we was using Oxy wipes to try to manage pubescent breakouts. we used the pads — that have an same smell to the blemish fighter, by the way — on my shoulders, decolletage and coarse spots on my elbows for about a week.
Although we enjoyed the low cleaning the pads seemed to provide, we came away often disappointed. The pads, abounding with glycolic poison and expected to reconstruct collagen, did small to upgrade the object damage on my satisfactory shoulders, and my dry, scaly elbows fared no better.
At $60 for 60 pads, you may be certain these won’t be apropos segment of my bland beauty routine.
